It applies to all Samscloud products and services, including mobile applications, web platforms, APIs, AI agents, cameras, sensors, on-premise deployments, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

Location data is used only to deliver location-based safety and security functionality and is subject to customer configuration and device permissions.
If you create an account or interact with the Services, we may collect:

Samscloud’s AI systems provide decision-support intelligence. Final decisions involving discipline, enforcement, or legal consequences remain under human authority unless otherwise required by law or contract.

Vital interests related to safety and security
The specific basis depends on the context of the data processing activity.
Depending on configuration, Samscloud may process biometric-adjacent signals (such as facial features present in video data).
Samscloud:
Does not sell biometric data
Does not use biometric data for advertising
Restricts access and retention based on customer agreements
Where biometric processing is enabled, it is limited to safety and security purposes and governed by applicable law.
Samscloud may operate in schools and other environments involving minors.
In these cases:
Samscloud acts as a service provider/operator on behalf of the institution
Data is processed solely for safety, security, and compliance
Samscloud does not independently market to minors
Data use is governed by customer contracts, FERPA-aligned practices, and applicable law

Service-related messages
You may control notification preferences through device or account settings. Marketing communications include opt-out mechanisms.

There is no universal standard for recognizing Do-Not-Track signals. We do not currently respond to such signals but will update this policy if standards change.
California residents and other U.S. state residents may have additional rights under applicable law. Samscloud complies with CPRA and similar statutes where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in technology, law, or Services. Material changes will be communicated appropriately.
